NTPC Sipat observed International Sign Language Day on 23 September 2022 by creating awareness in various forums like DPM and sessions with ETs at RLI Sipat. On this occasion, HR gave a presentation outlining the importance of Sign Language, the etiquette involved and developments in the Field of Sign Language. A quiz was also conducted for the employees on Sign Language in which all employees actively participated.

Shri Ramanath Pujari, GM(O&M), Sipat addressed the gathering and motivated employees to learn sign language as it would also be a useful tool in various activities pertaining to Power Plant maintenance. He also advised on cultivating and sustaining an inclusive environment filled with respect and comradeship. He appreciated the initiative taken by NTPC as per the directives of the Government of India to promote diversity and inclusion.
